It can be a Mobile application that Customers may download for free on entering the Restaurant (which can be further used to place Home delivery orders also).  The app may explain the menu card and its contents in one or two statements (Like this specific Sabji will be little spicy, quantity good for 4, etc). The user/Customer will be able to choose first the type of delivery he/she wants : i.e. Home delivery or table delivery, address of Home / Table Number , there after select menu click and select menu. The Chief chef of the place will be able to see the order placed and table number.

It can just be the Customized Menu Card ( McDonalds and other Fast food brands have customized Menu cards) present on the table with table numbers and SMS system to SMS the MENU number to specific number (Long Code) that can be shown on screen to Chief Chef. He can then ask the delivery boy to deliver.

The Prime Goal is to reduce Human based Transaction which saves time and make things easier.
